Eastern Counties Dachshund Association Championship Show 2nd June 2024

I would like to thank the officers, committee & exhibitors for a lovely day, a beautiful venue and a lovely setting. All the exhibits were presented in a good clean condition, making it a pleasure to go over them.

Dachshund (Long Haired)

JD (3)

1st Hanney-Mitchell’s Dachyclan Lochlan at Bronia (IMP AUS)Lovely  red dog ,excellent head shape, and eye shape ,good length of neck and good front construction, nice rear quarters which he used to his advantage on the move.

2nd Vincent’s Long Awaited at Gainscroft Shaded Red boy, lots to like about him, pleasing head ,good quarters, move well.

3rd Doyle’s Kindeace Light My Fire

1st Cross’s Breezelyn Long Way to Go to Loggeta  Nice masculine head ,with good neck and shoulders, well ribbed up, good feet, parallel mover. Moved with purpose.

2nd Kay’s Kenzduo Quartz Bright B/T boy, well-constructed front, long muscular neck going in to correct shoulders, good feet, good moving hound.

3rd Wedge’s Dolan the Last Time

1st Vincent’s Gainscroft Dark Destroyer  Shaded red, correct head proportions, and eye shape, lovely front construction and rear quarters, good ground clearance, free flowing movement,

2nd Marks Labbadax Quantum Socialize Shaded Red, another nice dog , well balanced, long muscular neck leading into good lay of shoulders, strong hind quarters, another good mover.

3rd Wedge’s Dolan Dock of The Bay

1st Roberts Ch Swansfod Prestonador Outstanding dog, shown in top condition, super head, with a long muscular neck leading to a correct shoulders topline and rear quarters. lovely front construction, correct shape and length of breastbone, good  ground clearance, free flowing movement. DCC  BOS

2nd Marks Labbadax Lewisville Texas well balanced dog, presented in good coat, pleasing head, good keel and ground clearance, nice rear quarters and good feet, sound mover. RDCC

VD(3 1a)

1st Marks Labbadax Kiton 7 years old, shown in very good condition, good topline and rear quarters ,moved out and back well

2nd Garlick’s Ranglewood Harvest Song B/T 7-year-old dog in good coat, pleasing head, good topline and ground clearance, moved with ease.

MPB (3 1a)

1st Dare’s Darsom’s Zyrhona a top-drawer puppy, lovely feminine head  with correct ear & eye shape, long muscular neck leading into correct shoulders, spot on topline, excellent rear quarters, correct shape & length of breast bone, good ground clearance, in excellent coat, parallel mover, moved with ease. RBCC, BP, RBPIS

2nd Robert’s Swansford Debhoradora another lovely bitch puppy to go over, very balanced, very similar remarks to my winner, close decision between l & 2, was lucky to find two gorgeous puppies in one class.

2nd Lacey’s Abydezl Northern Lights lovely feminine head, nice overall balance, good bone ,moved well.

3rd Dunhill’s Kindeace Brown Eyed Girl at Gellijam

1st Foley’s Beauty Long at Clavennae  nice feminine head, in good proportions good reach of neck,  well-muscled, well ribbed up, good bone and feet, moved with ease.

2nd Heap’s Ranglewood Katrine super in the head department, good neck and shoulders, nice bitch to go over, moved well

3rd Garlick’s Ranglewood  Heilen

LB (7 2a)

1st Paget &Carroll’s Cavallibrook  One Finel Say at Marvale  Nice B/T bitch very balanced, nice quarters, strong in the loin, well ribbed up, good ground clearance, a good moving hound.

2nd Garlick’s Kyrenia Queens Request with Ranglewood  another nice bitch, lovely overall shape, nicely muscled, very sound, moved with ease, close decision between 1 & 2.

3rd Whitfield-Roberts Swansford Patriciadora

1st Hanney-Mitchell’s Ch Cavallibrook Final Fling Bronia  Star of the show, outstanding quality, super head, and front construction, good bone,  long muscular neck leading to correct shoulders, well ribbed up, perfect topline, well-muscled  rear quarters with good feet, correct shape & length of breast bone, giving  good ground clearance, free flowing movement, shown in excellent condition, a lovely example of the breed, BCC, BOB, RBIS.

2nd Roberts Ch Swansford Aquadora  Another nice bitch with outstanding qualities, well balanced, good bone, excellent quarters, moved well.

3rd Chapman’s Melminds Maybelline

1st Bailey’s  Glasvey Double Trouble for Loggeta  7 year old red bitch, shown in top condition, well balanced, good front & rear quarters, covered the ground well on the move.BV

2nd Garlick’s Ranglewood  Trick or Treat nice B/T bitch, lot to like about her, good head and neck, good ground clearance, nice mover.
