Wendy Hall, Chairman of ECDA writes:

ECDA Open Show 1116 (15)It is with great sadness we heard of the passing of our longest-standing member, at the grand old age of 103. Percy Norton passed away on Saturday 8th of July.

Percy was a great supporter of Eastern Counties Dachshund Association, active right up to the end. Together with his daughter Marilyn (who is a Vice President of ECDA), Percy attended our last show in May.

Always a great character, I loved listening to his stories. He survived a serious injury sustained in the 2nd World War, he enjoyed fishing and of course, his Dachshunds.

RIP Percy; we will miss you. Our condolences to Marilyn and her sister.
