My thanks to the committee for their exceptional hospitality at this well run friendly show where I was treated so royally. A word must be mentioned of Kugow and Holt’s Min Wire BOB “Waldmeister Annie” who did a lap of honour and then withdrew from the BIS competition as we travelled to the show together.

BIS went to the winner of veteran; Dare’s Std Long “Ch Bronia Salvador of Darsoms” This 7 yr old d is a fine specimen sporting a masculine head with noble carriage set on a strong neck and running into correctly laid shoulders. His front is oval and full without being overdone. He has strong bone and good feet. Well ribbed back and well proportioned being one to two height to length ratio. His strong well muscled quarters allow him to power around the ring with drive. He kept his outline at all times and was presented in gleaming condition.

Res BIS Phillips Std Wire “ Hototo Swellegant Gal at Tendrow” 2 yrs on the day this young b has certainly come on. I judged her as a raw puppy and she has matured into a lovely specimen. Very like her Sire for type who I have previously given a CC to, she is the correct size and sports a super crisp jacket that is well prepared. Lovely feet and bone. Good front, again not overdone and once more correctly proportioned. She just lost her topline a tad after several circuits of the ring but she has a lovely head and expression and I’m sure will win many top honours.

BPIS Muggleton’s Min Smooth “Mosiarto Miss Calculate” 8 m red b who was very self confident with defiant head carriage. Well put together with good neck and front, pretty head and expression. Kept her topline and had a good underline. Had plenty of body and condition which I love to see on a baby.

Res BPIS Morris’ Min Wire “ Pennywave Top Totti” 10m mature brindle b with good coat. Lovely type, good head and expression. Another confident baby which is great to see. She showed with style. Just preferred the min smooth for topline today but it was close.

2nd in veteran beaten only by the BIS was Sutton’s Std Long “ Damai Master Benedict ShCM” over 10yrs old and as fit as a flea and in super condition. Gave the winner a run for his money! Bad luck to run up against such a super one!
